That awkward moment when a young man feels that his repeated failed attempts to woo a young woman are somehow indicative of her poor character rather than realizing that just because you like a woman doesn’t mean she has to like you back. Toby, take that rape culturey, entitled assumption that Zoey (and any other woman for that matter) owes you anything and turn it on its head by creating a system where women’s rejections of men’s advances are respected rather than used against them verbally, emotionally, and/or physically.
